Definition

Head and Shoulders is a reversal pattern consisting of three peaks: a higher peak (head) between two lower peaks (shoulders). It signals a potential trend change from bullish to bearish. The inverse pattern signals bullish reversal.

Example

EUR/USD forms peaks at 1.1100, 1.1200, and 1.1100. When price breaks below the neckline connecting the lows, it confirms the bearish reversal.
