Definition

The Stochastic Oscillator compares a currency pair's closing price to its price range over a specific period. It ranges from 0-100, with readings above 80 indicating overbought conditions and below 20 indicating oversold conditions.

Example

If GBP/USD Stochastic reaches 85, it might be overbought and due for a pullback. Below 15 might indicate oversold conditions and a potential bounce.
