Lot Size
Definition
A lot is the standard trading unit in forex. A standard lot is 100,000 units of the base currency. Mini lots (10,000 units), micro lots (1,000 units), and nano lots (100 units) are also available for smaller trades.
Example
Trading 1 standard lot of EUR/USD means controlling €100,000. A mini lot would be €10,000, and a micro lot would be €1,000.
